Free Choice Market CSA
WHAT IS THE MARKET CSA AND HOW DOES IT WORK?CSAs (Community Supported Agriculture) are a wonderful way to support local farmers. When you purchase a CSA you get a share in the farm for the season, which translates into fresh local veggies. When you join our CSA program you are making an investment in The Kitchen Garden and local food. Your support gets us off the ground every spring, helping us with seed, equipment and labour expenses.
Our model differs from more traditional CSA programs. Rather than a weekly box of pre-packed vegetables, our Market CSA gives you farm credit and allows member to choose whatever they'd like from our market offerings each Sunday. No fixed shares. Choose exactly what you like, in the amounts that work for you. Super flexible. Miss a week, no problem! Credit is good until the end of the market season. Eat more veggies! Get super fresh, vibrant, nutrient dense produce grown with love and care in living organic soils. Support local. CSA members are a huge help with farm cashflow and getting the farm off to a great start each spring! WHEN AND WHERE DO I GET MY VEGGIES?Pick up is only at our market stall. You can find us every Sunday at the Memorial Centre Farmers' Market from 9am - 2pm starting in mid to late May until the end of December. Rain or shine!
Choose whatever veggies you'd like and we will tally up your choices and subtract from your credit. We will keep track and will let you know how much credit you have remaining. HOW DO I SIGN UP?Signing up is easy! Click on the button below to register and choose a CSA value of $300 or $500. Members can top up their balance any time during the growing season.
